*I went back to your original posts and copied the format for my own goals!
My GoalMy ultimate goal weight is to weigh 105 to 110 pounds. To do this I will have to loose 20 pounds! I weighed in this morning at 128.6 (I was down a couple before the holidays and parties, but you can't fool my body.)
The Workout PlanI love my elliptical and like/hate my treadmill...I am a workout dvd junkie. I had some really good results with Jillian Michaels 30 day shred a couple summers ago, thinking about dusting that one off and start the new year out with a bang...I am so out of shape I know it will make me sore in places I forgot I had! I aim for 45 minutes on the elliptical plus a dvd that's 30-60 minutes long to get in some resistance/weight training. I do have a lifetime membership to my old gym, but I can't wrap my brain around rushing up there in the wee hours of the morning and rushing back. (Sadie's got a touch of colic and is an impatient eater, can't leave her for long...also she refuses the bottle...good times!) :-) Plus, the morning is usually when I have breakfast with the hubby and see him off to work.
The MenuI am a food lover too, and also like Laura if I get too strict it sort of back fires. I am breastfeeding my 2 month old right now and I don't can't over-restrict calories. (Everything I read the recommended minimum is 1800 a day!) I never used to be this way, but my weakness is carbohydrates and sweets. I know if I just cut out the sweets and second helpings except for one cheat day per week I'd start losing weight gradually again. Especially with working out. My husband went on a yeast free diet and I was doing that with him for a little while...I had to modify because of my caloric needs, but I did drop weight...I got a little cranky though I told him: I need my carbs!! But, that was when I was going too restrictive on the plan. Basically I want to eat clean and healthy!
Thanks for inviting me to join you girls! Here's to each of us reaching and exceeding our goals in 2010!
TTYS!
